We focus on everyday feeding — not trends, gimmicks, or extremes.

How are the meals packaged?

Meals are delivered fully cooked and packaged for refrigeration or freezing. Each order contains 7 identical meals of the recipe you choose.

Packaging may vary by portion size and storage method, but all meals are prepared with the same care and consistency.

Can I mix recipes within a 7-meal pack?

No. Each 7-meal pack contains seven identical meals of a single recipe.

This allows us to maintain consistency, quality, and accurate portioning.

Do you offer custom meals or ingredient substitutions?

At this time, we do not offer custom meals or ingredient substitutions.

Our recipes are intentionally designed with a limited number of ingredients so we can focus on consistency and quality.

Is Scout’s Kitchen food safe for all dogs?

Scout’s Kitchen meals are made with dog-approved, whole-food ingredients.

However, every dog is different. If your dog has specific allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions, we recommend reviewing ingredient lists carefully and consulting your veterinarian before making changes.

They are not intended to replace veterinary care or individualized medical nutrition plans. Feeding needs vary by dog, and many owners choose to feed Scout’s Kitchen meals as part of a mixed or flexible approach.

How much should I feed my dog?

Portion needs vary based on your dog’s size, age, activity level, and overall diet.

How do I transition my dog to Scout’s Kitchen meals?

When introducing fresh food, start with small portions and gradually increase over several days.

A slow transition helps support digestion, especially for dogs coming from dry or highly processed foods.

Why don’t nutrition values look exactly the same every week?

Scout’s Kitchen meals are made with real, whole ingredients and prepared fresh in small batches. Because we use whole meats, vegetables, and grains, small natural variations in calories, macros, and fiber can occur. Nutrition values shown on product pages are estimates intended to help guide feeding decisions, not exact measurements This is normal with fresh food and does not affect overall quality or consistency.

How should meals be stored?

Meals should be refrigerated for short-term use or frozen if not used right away.

  • Thaw frozen meals in the refrigerator
  • Use thawed meals within 3–4 days
  • Discard uneaten food after serving

Because our meals contain no preservatives, proper storage is important.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. Scout’s Kitchen currently offers local delivery only.

Meals are prepared in small batches and delivered on scheduled weekends to ensure freshness and quality. Delivery details are provided at checkout.

Do you ship meals?

No. Scout’s Kitchen does not ship meals. We offer local delivery only to ensure freshness, food safety, and quality control.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. All orders have a $100 minimum, plus a $15 local delivery fee.

This allows us to maintain quality, efficiency, and sustainable small-batch preparation.

Do you offer subscriptions or auto-delivery?

Not yet. Subscription options are planned for the future.

At launch, all orders are placed individually.

Can I pick up my order?

At this time, Scout’s Kitchen does not offer pickup. All orders are delivered locally on scheduled delivery days.

What if my dog doesn’t like the food?

Dogs can take time to adjust to fresh food.

We recommend transitioning gradually and allowing a few meals for adjustment. If you have concerns, please reach out — we’re happy to help.
